  1. Great podcast fellas!!!

Interesting take on the PG and SF positions. I have two questions for you guys.

Who are we targeting to fill those positions?
Who do you think we should target to upgrade those two positions?

  2. we should of jumped on that andre iggy trade nuggets now have iggy chandler and galli lets try and get one of those guys

    • Don’t think we want someone who is old (compared to our core of 26 year old and (much) younger guys) and expensive; he gets $31M over the next two years. We want someone who can grow with our core. Also, we don’t have the cap space for any high dollars guy. We are left with very few options salary-wise.

  3. Good chat. I agree with GV and said it weeks ago we will pickup another vet PG.

I think we can grab Chris Duhon or Blake from the lakers. One of them will be traded. I would think Lakers would give them away.

  4. Gots some news for U guys they’re rumors going around that UTAH Jazz are targeting Ryan Anderson. I hope the HORNETS don’t give up Anderson . What do You Hornets fan think about that.

    • WERE targeting him, before he was traded to us, I don’t think we can even trade him this year anyway because he was just S&T to us, and we took him for a 3 year deal so i don’t think that is happening at all

  5. Great podcast, going to miss Gerry V. Do you have any plans to do a post memorializing (not that they’re dead or anything) the Hornets broadcast team? I don’t know if New Orleans fans ever got attached to Licht, Gil and Gerry V, but I will certainly miss them. I’m a lifelong NOLA resident, but as it happens I was a Charlotte Hornets fan (with no team here I latched onto those LJ/Muggsy/Zo teams as my favorite). In addition to being great broadcasters, I think their familiarity with the team and its history really added to the broadcasts in subtle ways. People here don’t care, but Hornets history goes back further than 2002.

  6. Oh my god, I can’t believe Jerry V won’t be the radio analyst for the Hornets. WWL is absolutely crazy if they don’t hire Jerry V. With the updated wifi in the Arena I was looking forward to listening to him during the game.
