If they was a team name changed heres the list

I like New Orleans Krewe, or an option New Orleans Horns - close enough for those who like Hornets, but still something different. I personally think it is to close to Hornets and if we are to rebrand we need something completely different but just throwing ideas out there. A rebrand is certainly needed or we will always be confused with Charlotte and mistakes of the past will continue to haunt. Perception is a dangerous thing, and the hornets name is probably perceived worst in the league - sad but true

Or how about re-branding as the New Orleans Bucs, like the old ABA team. Can't go wrong w/ Red White and Blue!

New Orleans Royals. Like Mardi Gras royalty. Purple Green Gold. Mascot would be an Alligator named Rex. I dig it.

I like Predators, Brass (that was the minor league hockey team name), Soul, and the Nighthawks which was the name of the arena team wayyy back in the day (I think)

I rather change there name to New Orleans Crabs, Predators, Creoles, Boubons and the Hurricanes b/c not even a hurricane can keep us down, and we can rise even after a hurricane!!!

I think we need a fresh start. To galvanize the local fanbase. I said the New Orleans Souls some time again and still like that name.

Why would we change our name though? I'm proud to be a Hornet fan =)
