It’s the final game of the season! The Pelicans are locked into the 6th worst record in the NBA, or, if you’re a glass half-full person, the 6th best lottery odds. 21.5% chance at landing a top 3 pick!

That means it’s time to unleash the D-League players! Tim Frazier, James Ennis, Jordan Hamilton! Honestly, this should be a pretty fun game. The Timberwolves are actively trying to win and play well. This Pelicans team has been competing night in and night out trying to secure contracts for next year. This should end up being a high scoring, fun game.

And if it isn’t?

Well then we’re going to talk offseason all night. Is Demps gone? Gentry coming back? Which draft prospect fits the Pelicans the best? Are they going to be players in free agency?

And then after the game ends and the Pelicans season is laid to rest? There are two pretty significant basketball games on. The Golden State Warriors attempt to break the single season wins record, and it’s Kobe Bryant’s last NBA game ever. We’ll be there watching both of those as well.
