Game On: Hornets @ Grizzlies

Over the weekend, the Hornets managed to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies.  Can they do it again?

Probably not.  The Hornets have now sat down Chris Kaman.  Eric Gordon is resting, and there is no word yet if he is playing.  The Hornets are also in danger of tying Cleveland and Sacramento for the fourth worst record in the league with a win tonight, so I’m willing to bet that Gordon may continue to rest.  He is the key piece to this, because as we saw in Charlotte, having the competent aggression of Eric Gordon on the floor allows the rest of the team to stay more in their own comfort zones.

On the other side, Memphis should be out for revenge for the loss on Sunday, and with the Hornets likely to be missing players 1-5 on their opening day depth chart, the Hornets will once again have to relay on simply outworking the Grizzlies on defense and hustle plays to try and get a win.

If the Hornets do win another game missing Okafor, Kaman, Ariza, Gordon, and Jack then something is wrong with the rest of the league.
