Jarrett Jack is out for at least a week with a knee bruise.
Hornets guard Jarrett Jack re-aggravated his left knee bruise and is out tonight against Portland. Jack originally missed three games due to the injury (2/2-2/6) and returned this past Wednesday against Chicago. He will be out at least a week.

knee bruises seem to be contagious
Does anyone know where the bear in the arena came from. What city gave it to us?
Where is this?
And don’t tell McNamara . . . he’ll try to wrestle it . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA6TlpQwNMc
Jeez the Mardi Gras uniforms are awful.
Maybe Jack should rest his knee the rest of the season… You know, wouldn’t want to risk further injury or anything… Agree?
😉
Jarrett Jack knee bruise = miss 1 week
Eric Gordon knee bruise = miss the entire season
Am I the only one who finds this fishy?
Is there a reason to think all injuries are equal to all people?
And, do you remenber the initial time assigned to Gordon’s injury?
Also, we don’t know what type of bruise… Regular? Bone?
We know Gordon has a bone bruise and is a notoriously slow healer…
Jack has been more durable and tough…
I still think he should rest until about june 😉
So much for the great quotes of the year by Jarret Jack when he said, ” the greatest contribution a player can give to a coach is availability”

Knee bruises are to Hornets as sports hernias are to Saints
I was thinking this very same thing.
Hilarious if it wasn’t true.
So true.
I have ranted myself hoarse more than once about sports hernias.
I’ve been impressed with Grevis so far despite the turnovers, & it also gives us a chance to see what Sloan can do. Still, June can’t come fast enough, & i hope Demps can stockpile some more young talent by the deadline next month. We need all the depth we can get.
