Video and Notes: Landry on Getting Hacked, J-Smooth Back

At Hornets practice today, Monty Williams and Carl Landry spoke about the shortened season, what’s to come, and more.

Be patient! Video(s) are uploading. They’ll be here soon…

Other Notes From Practice

  • Jason Smith is back. Early on he was helping Ayon with his defense, and later on he was dunking in drills.
  • Ariza was practicing. It appears he’s getting better. Groins can be tricky though, so it’s probably best they are taking it easy with him.
  • Eric Gordon was nowhere to be seen. He’s away dealing with a death in the family.
  • Belinelli was raining down jumpers for a while when he got some along time at a basket. After taking the step back to the three point line he knocked down 11 of his first 12. He’s a bit streaky even in practice.
  • Coaches were running around with rockets on their boots today.
  • There were laptops in the center of practice for showing guys film on the fly. When I left Squeaky and Belinelli were getting one-on-one film sessions.

  1. I don’t care with anybody say Okafor is a bust!!!! You’re willing to trade CP3 so quickly and give up on West but your keeping a Bust Hornets make no sense at what they are doing for this franchise!!!!

    • West and Paul gave up on us, dont get it twisted.
And Okafor is certainly not a bust, he’s not Michael Olowakandi or Hasheem Thabeet.

Anyways, glad Smith and Ariza are back practicing, their presence has been missed.

  2. Whoa whoa whoa…give up on West? Buddy, both he and Cp gave up on us. West was never coming back, no matter what we offered. Secondly, we had to trade Cp or we’d lose him for nothing after this year (not to mention him not wanting to be here all year). Lastly, they may trade Okafor but he has a few years left at over 12 million a year, so its not that easy.
