Aaron Gray Won’t be a Hornet, Signs With Raptors.

Yahoo Sports is reporting that Aaron Gray will sign a one year deal with the Toronto Raptors. No word yet on what the value is, but it’s safe to say that Gray won’t be on the Hornets roster.

Goodbye, Aaron. There were few moments in my time watching the Hornets that I enjoyed more than watching you tool on the vaunted Lakers front court in the playoffs last year. Best of luck in America’s 51st state.

What? I can’t let an opportunity to rip Canada go to waste…

  1. Anyone have a link to that clip of Van Gundy talking about what great hands Big Sloppy has during the series against LA? That was priceless.

  2. I’m not too broken up about this but he was fun to watch…at times! Goodbye MOOBS aka the Incredible Bulk! We’ll never forget you & your performance in Game 1 of last years playoffs in LA!

  3. I like his chances with the Raps, he could be their starting C. He’s big and rebounds better than the fool they have now. Sucks for the Hornets though. Dell should have tried to get Amir Johnson, that would’ve been an awesome trade.

    • but don’t they have like 20 centers on this team????
what the hell is the plan?
can’t we still trade for him?????

      • You mean the Raptors? They actually have too many PFs at this point. They’ll move Bargnani to PF this season, and also have Amir, Jonas V. and Ed Davis. Their Cs would be Aaron, Alabi and Magloire who they just picked up. Aaron shouldn’t have to worry about PT, unless they play small ball alot.

      • Jonas is a center, and not coming over until next year. Some talk of either Ed Davis or Amir trying center exists… so the Raptors have:

Center: Davis (maybe), Gray, Maglore, Alibi
        PF: Bargnani, Amir, Davis

    • with him on the team they can put A.Banganai at PF and I think he could at the most could stats wise at 8.0 ppg,10rpg,0.3 apg,o.2 spg, 0.88 BPG.
