In the NO Podcast Episode 31: Interview with the Land O Lakers

In a special edition of the In the NO Podcast, Ryan and Michael are joined by Andy Kamenetsky of the Land O Lakers blog at ESPNLA.  Andy answers questions about Gasol, the Lakers bench, Trevor Ariza, and how confident the Lakers fans are that they will still win this series.  Good times.

Enjoy!

  1. Was this podcast produced by horses? Because all I hear are naysayers! – Tracy Jordan

I predict hornets in a clean sweep. Get your brooms ready NOLA!

Sorry I can’t help but be ridiculously optimistic.

  2. god it’s so boring hearing the “trade belinelli for a legit guard” discussions….

I think he proved to be a legit shooter out there, he’s still underutilized but his contribution for a team that base his game on cp3 keeping the ball and inside offense by dwest was pretty good. kevin martin needs ball in his hands, need to take 20 shots a game, and cost an awful lot of money (and is an awful defender)

  3. “Beat the s*%t out of the Mavericks”. That makes me smile. Call me crazy, but I feel good about our chances in this series. Unfortunately I’ll be in Dallas for our 2 home games, but I’m bringing all my Hornets gear. Great podcast.

  4. I gotta say, I went to several Lakers blogs to try and get a feel for how the fans were feeling. All you see is “CP3 gets all the calls!/Lakers sweep the next 4”. The only reason the talking heads are saying we won is because the Lakers energy level was too low. Kobe had a ridiculously efficient game, and then there was that phantom flagrant on Ariza. Plus, no way we miss the same number of free throws, and even if you can’t count on Chris having a 30-14 game or Gray going 5-5, I think we can bank on Bellinelli, Ariza, and Emeka all having better games. I LOL’ed at a video on ESPN calling Derek Fisher one of the best screen and roll defenders in the game

  5. Mac, I like how you politely asked the LA Blogger about how he felt about the refs showing favoritism. Had I asked the question, it would have been more around the lines of, “Look mother fcuker, you know the Fakers cheat b/c Kome is $tern’s favorite son. So stop being a little bytch and admit it!” So yeah…Good job man.

    • The funny thing is LA fans think the refs are on OUR side because we are owned by the NBA. Isn’t that hilarious??!

      • Laker Fan Boys lack of intellect is the sole reason why I left Yahoo Sports. My “Look mother f….” comment – for the thumber who couldn’t tell – was totally sarcastic, but sometimes those Fan Boys say stuff that just makes me wanna go Nick Cage on ’em.
