After we win a playoff series, then lets hear what they have to say. This team has flown under the radar most of the season, but with the addition of Landry, and if JJ and Ariza keep up their strong play, we can win a series!
For the record, Stein mentioned Monty in his awards section on ESPN
I think Monty was counted out because the Hornets have dissapointed in big ways. I’m not saying that their record is dissapointing, but everytime they went on a winning streak they’d lose like an equal amount of games to put them back at ground zero. In many ways thats much worse than just winning and losing games at a time.
Also, CP3’s Hornets have already been to better places fairly recently, they would’ve had to have won like 53 for Monty to get consideration.
