David West Hammers one on Jared Jeffries

I’m not sure which is better, the fact it was a huge basket in a tough game, that it was David West dunking on someone which NEVER happens, or the half-confused half-amused look West had on his face when walking back to the bench.  Does that make him amfused?

  1. amfused? LOL!!

It ended up being NBA’s Dunk of the Night. I keep going back to look at the crowd’s reaction. LOL. Can you imagine the NOLA Arena erupting if he’d done that at home?

BTW, the team had a delay in Houston and didn’t get to Charlotte til about 5 this morning.

    • I originally thought that the half-confused, halk-amused look on his face was in response to the weak chest bump attempt by JJ. The chick in the front row laughs at their collision and David reacts to her.

  2. it loooked SOOOOO much better live. prob because it was such a big basket but it honestly looked like he threw jeffries thru the basket with the ball

  3. Yes Indeed!!! D-West gave a true example if the phrase…’Man-Up’! Lol…I agree, it was even better live! I see quite a few plays similar to that on ESPN’s Top Plays, but it’s so nice to see a play of that magnitude on OUR team!! It does so much for the crowd and its gotta be a big lift for the other players!!! Go ahead D-West, way to man-up!!!

  4. Things I want as a result of the Houston game:

    1. That poster!
    2. A Jarret Jack jersey
    3. The same dunk against the Bobcats.

  5. LoL. That was such a great play. I love seeing vets like him just shock the hell out of everyone and do things like that. It makes you think…

“He can still even do that?!? …. DO IT AGAIN THEN DW!!!”

    LoL.

  6. Of course he’s amfused . . . Smart guy like you doesn’t know when someone is amfused? Geez!

    Ha!

Good one. Portmanteau is way underused and undervalued.
