Hornets at Warriors tonight, seeing if they can keep the roll going and finish this road trip at 3-0. Game tips at 9:30 Central.
The Warriors are 26-49 on the season, 6-32 on the road. They beat the Kings in an OT thriller on Wednesday, but had lost five straight before that. We last played these guyses only two weeks ago, beating them 99-89 sans Tyson and Peja. We also beat them in Oakland in the season opener, but they stole one back at the Arena in January.
The Warriors are severely depleted right now, with Stephen Jackson (toe surgery) out for the rest of the season, Andris Biedrins still nursing an ankle sprain and Corey Maggette suffering from post-concussion syndrome. Marco Belinelli and Brandan Wright are also sidelined with injuries, while Monta Ellis tweaked his Achilles’ on Wednesday but is expected to play tonight.
As for the Hornets… Peja Stojakovic is back! Julian Wright will still start, with Peja playing “about 20 to 25 minutes” according to Byron Scott.
