Tonight the Hornets try to extend their season-high winning streak to seven games when they take on the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder. Game tips a little after 7 p.m. Central.
The Thunder are riding their own season-high winning streak; a whopping three games. That’s pretty impressive though when you consider Kevin Durant (ankle) has missed all those games, and Jeff Green (back) has missed the last two. Daily Thunder.com tells us how the team has succeeded without them.
Durant is unlikely to play tonight, Green might be good to go. OKC’s Desmond Mason is also out for the season and Thabo Sefolosha has just come down with a sprained MCL.
The Thunder are 16-45 on the season, 4-25 on the road. We’ve already beaten them one–two–three times this season. No word on Peja for tonight. I doubt he’ll play. Should be interesting to see how Tyson fares after getting rejected by OKC.
After this one the Hornets set out on a four-game road trip, starting Monday at Atlanta.
