Ok, I didn’t understand why Mike James wasn’t playing and the Hornets were allowing Devin Brown to run the point guard position in the first place. So then, the Hornets go out and make moves to get a (another) solid back-up point guard but yet Devin Brown is still the second string point guard… WHY?! The offense is completely stagnant with him in the game. Every time he comes in the game the Hornets lose their lead, no matter how big it is. It’s almost like a strategy to keep the game exciting (and frustrating). And yet they wonder why the team is underachieving this year. Maybe because they have the crappiest bench in the league, largely due to the fact that the back up “point guard” runs an offense about as well as if they let Sean Marks play the one. Not to mention that Devin Brown could even be a marketable trade item and hey we possibly could get an acceptable shooting guard to come off the bench. Maybe if the Hornets hadn’t passed on Bobby Brown and Chris Douglas-Roberts this summer we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.
– And on a side note, am I the only one who feels that despite how talented he is, David West may have the worst shot selection since Antawn Jamison?
