My League Pass almost always shows the broadcast for the team opposite the Hornets, so I’m going to make note of some of my favorite bits from the announcers here. (Note: All my journals will be late as I’m almost always watching the game the following morning. I perform live comedy most nights in Austin, Tx – if you’re in the area, let me know)

The Atlanta guys were miles above Cleveland and Golden State. They showed near-equal excitement over both Hornets and Hawks and didn’t take a single cheap shot at New Orleans. The lone joke dropped was a weak “I wonder where Obama is going to put the basketball court at the White House!!!” which confused the other announcer, causing the joker to explain himself.

On a side note, one of the reasons I enjoy opposing teams broadcasts is because I get to see commercials for the other teams in the area – The Atlanta Thrashers! Blueland!(?) I want a hockey team.
