CP3 Will Be the Best in the League. This Year.

Hey, don't take my word for it.  Take John Hollinger's of ESPN.  He released his mathematical projections for the NBA a couple days ago, and they predict that Chris Paul will have the best PER of any player in the league.

Of course, take that with a grain of salt.  He's also stated that there has never been a player combining Paul's stature with his output, and since his projections rely on the career arcs of similar players, it's probably hard to project how his career will progress.

Oh – and there's also the fact that every player in the league, according to the current Hollinger stats on ESPN.com, will apparently become a worse rebounder.  I'm assuming that's some sort of issue with the formula they are displaying – and not with the actual overall PER scores being listed, but who knows.

It's always fun to pick up on other people's typo's.  Of course, once they fix it, the post I almost completed ranting about how stupid it was that Hollinger thought both Chandler and David West would forget how to rebound will be wasted.  So I guess I need to come up with something else.

Anyone interested in an analysis of the Hornet's Schedule?  Been meaning to do that for a while.
