Game Day Open Thread: Hornets @ Lakers

Perhaps the biggest game of the Hornets' season goes down tonight when they take on the Lakers out in L.A. If we win, we should be able to secure the West's number one seed pretty easily. If we lose, we'll be in a dogfight for that top spot.

Chris Paul hopes to shine in L.A.

Knowledge…

Hornets (W-L): 55-23

Lakers (W-L): 54-25

Game Time: 9:30pm Central.

TV: CST locally, League Pass elsewhere (shame on you, ESPN).

Radio: KMEZ 102.9 FM in New Orleans and WIBR 1300-AM in Baton Rouge.

Linkage:

This game is also being hyped up as a decider for the MVP award between Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant. Whatever. Give me the win and I'll go home happy.

I'm heading to French Quarter Fest for this one, so if someone would be so kind as to post witty and insightful comments during the game, I'd appreciate it.

Hornets lose 107-104.  Almost pulled out a comeback from a 30 point lead.
