Game Day Open Thread: Hornets @ Celtics

The Hornets go into the Lion's Den tonight, travelling to Boston to take on the Celtics, one week removed from beating them in New Orleans. I think there is no question that both teams are going to be going hard in this one – Boston for revenge, Hornets for respect. Currently the Hornets are the only team in the league that the Celtics have not beaten.

Garnett, I'm sure, will be out for blood.Garnett threatening Paul

Can't say I'm not worried about this one. Boston won't be at the tail end of a brutal road trip and will be ready for us this time. The Hornets also can't let them get ahead early again. Making a run like we did last time in the fourth will be a lot tougher this time around.

Essential Information:

Hornets(W-L): 49-21
Celtics(W-L): 59-15
Off Efficiency: Hornets 108.7(6th), Celtics 107.6(9th)
Def Efficiency: Hornets 102.5(5th), Celtics 96.3(1st)

Gametime: 6:30 PM Central
TV: CST Locally, NBATV Nationally
Radio: KMEZ 102.9 FM in New Orleans and WIBR 1300-AM in Baton Rouge

Ron will be at the official Watch Party tonight – so go join him if you have the time!

Sorry about the lack of a game preview today, but hey, we just saw this battle a week ago. You should know we need to defend Rondo better and that when Sam Cassell steps on the floor, we'll destroy him.

Feel free to discuss the game in the comments below. And remember to take a drink every time Tyson Chandler or David West rebounds or CP3 gets an assist.

[UPDATE] Hornets play tough but lose big, 92-112.
