Half-assed Preview: Hornets vs. Bobcats

This evening, the Hornets will finish up this pain-in-the-nuts preseason, playing the Charlotte Bobcats in Chris Paul's hometown of Winston-Salem. Game time is set for 7:30pm Central. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Can someone tell me if this counts as a home game or as a road game for the Hornets? I'm not so sure. The internet is sending me more mixed signals than an Amish hooker.

We know Tyson Chandler will be sitting this one out to get all fresh and rested and ready to knock heads next Wednesday, but there's also word from The Official that David West will miss the game due to an ankle sprain suffered at practice this morning.

Also not playing will be Trey Johnson, because, well, he got cut. Tough titties, Trey. I hope you're not considering packing in this basketball thing and getting a real job. Screw that, man. Real jobs are for suckers. Keep working and we'll see you back in the League someday. Don't give up on that dream, son.

Hey, the Bobcats have lost Sean May and Adam Morrison for the whole entire season. What a kick in the dick. They've still got a pretty good team though. Methinks they might sneak up on some folks like Toronto did last year.

The Ceebies are 2-5 in the preseason. They've managed to score 100 points just once, so if I'm coaching the Hornets tonight I'd be telling them "Yo, go out there and score more than 100 points and leave these bitches in the dust, KA-BLAH!" Game over. Maybe I should tell Byron Scott my ingenious little tactics. I've got a bunch of 'em.

Gerald Wallace and Jason Richardson have been doing a good chunk of the sub-100 scoring for the Bobcats. Wallace is dropping 21.7 a game, while J-Rich is pouring in 17.4. Crazy ninjas. Here's the Ceebies' preseason stats.

And here's a video of two slugs having sex…

So romantic.
