Half-assed Preview: Pacers @ Hornets

The Hornets are back in New Orleans this evening for preseason game number four. They beat the Suns in Phoenix on Saturday while I was busy building a mega-tower of plastic cups, a result which puts them at 2-1 for the preseason.

Tonight's opponent will be the same Indiana Pacers that beat the Hornets last week in Indianapolis. That was a game best remembered for its insignificance in which the Pacers won by 5 points and 19 rebounds. However, Melvin Ely and Tyson Chandler, both of whom sat out that loss last week, combined for 29 points and 14 rebounds against the Suns on Saturday. So, if you do the math, it's quite obvious that the Hornets will be whupping the Pacers this evening.

I really don't have much else to say, so here's a picture of Ryan Bowen being attacked by a puppy…

Give the dog a Bowen. Huh huh. Get it? Bowen?

True story.

Can't really go an entire post without some linkage either, so here's some Chris Paul baby photos alongside some Chris Paul grown-up words.

Game time is 7pm Central this evening and I'd love me some beignets right about now.

Update: Pacers' swingman Marquis Daniels will miss tonight's game with a dose of the heebie-jeebies. Or something.
