So here we are in limbo. So much at stake and nothing we can do but wait. The Clippers play the Lakers at 9:30pm Central and I'll be rooting for Kobe and Co in that one. Hornets back in action tomorrow in OKC against the Nuggets.
Some shizzle to pass the time…
- The Sonics' Chris Wilcox, who busted Tyson Chandler's toe, Desmond Mason's face and his own ankle in the space of a dozen minutes last week, achieved a new level of clumsiness last Monday. The big fool smacked himself upside the head with a locker door, resulting in a nasty gash that required stitches. Best not to leave that man alone with a plastic bag.
- As I found out over on the HR boards, the Hornets had a visit from New Orleans city officials yesterday. Apparently the players were a little concerned for their safety in the Big Easy next season.
I really don't get why they would be nervous about living in New Orleans. Won't they be living in the big gated houses in the nicest neighborhoods?
- Former Hornets' fan favorite Robert "Tractor" Traylor is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Poor guy could be facing jail time after he dimwittedly helped launder money for his big-time drug dealing cousin. Damn fam.
(Btw, that link is worth following if only for the pic of Traylor smashing a backboard.)
- Patrick Nelson, the world's biggest New Oklahoma City Sonics fan, tells us what he'll miss about the Hornets over at Hornets Central.
- Tony Mejia gives the Hornets an A for handling all the injuries and adversity this season. A for Awesome!!
And I'm out of here. Got to practice those handstands, you know how it is.
