The Sacramento Kings vs. The New Orleans Pelicans

The famous Dungeon Master Ryan Schwann once said, “I never feel good after a game against the Kings.” That’s an opinion, but it feels like an objective truth. If the Pelicans win, that’s great, but who cares about beating the Kings? And if you lose? Who LOSES to the kings?

Well, bad news folks, the very injured Pelicans are actually underdogs tonight, according to Vegas. If you haven’t been keeping up, the Pelicans recently lost Eric Gordon (again) with a broken finger and Alexis Ajinca to a broken sternum (ouch). If you’re looking for good news, the Gordon injury will force Jrue Holiday into the starting lineup so Twitter will have one less thing to talk about.

Alright, here’s the long and short of it. For lottery teams, these are the dog days of the NBA season. There’s almost nothing fun about watching a team these last 21 games. I could give you some points to watch for tonight, but we are pretty close to game time so let’s keep it short: Watch for Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson, and Jrue Holiday to make this game watchable for us.

I’ll be handling the twitter and post game tonight. Later guys.
