I hope we don’t go into the season with a lame duck coach and GM. If we’re keeping both, one or the other, or neither we do so in ASAP.

Everything I’ve read says how much Benson likes Monty and Dell.

    My question:

If you were a GM and there was a player named Fanta Dash available would you have to take him with the first pick of the draft – even if he shots three’s like Joe Gerrity -since he fits into Michael McNarma’s O.J Mayo rule?

    • Mason Ginsberg

If he shot threes like Joe, the Bobcats would probably offer us their next five first round draft choices in exchange for the #1 pick to get him, so we’d probably trade the pick before even having the chance to draft Mr. Dash.

If there was 11 people playing a game of pick up basketball, and Joe was out there….who do you think would be the odd man out?? lol

Hey guys, im a little confused as to why you bother putting live recap shows up considering we cant hear any of you guys talk, besides Michael. I did ask this same question with your last live show when the trade deadline was happening, but had no response. Having said this though, i have not listened to a show live, so it could be different, not sure?
    Would appreciatte a response.

I responded to someone about this.

I hear different things on my phone than on my laptop. It’s at least partially a settings thing.

Hey guys. Should we use a specific browser to be able to successfully listen to a recorded Vokle live chat? I am having big trouble with firefox. It goes black screen and silent frequently. You then have to scroll the red line at the time bar around. Once you do that, it usually becomes frozen and you have to hit pause/play button. So, I wanted to listen to it yesterday while I was working on something else on my computer and failed. I want to listen now, and fail again. Any suggestions?

I listened to some and Great brainstorming though. One correction I would like to make is: It is Omer, not Omar. To be exact, it is Ömer Aşık! 🙂 But convert those Turkish characters into English and that makes it Omer Asik.

Well, I think Omer is a very-very good defensive player. If you watched the Miami-Chicago series last season, you could tell how big of a difference his presence made on the court. However, his offense is pretty limited. He’s got some nice post moves that he uses in Europe but for some reason he pretty much only dunks for the Bulls. Well, maybe that’s what his coach wants. While Rose, Boozer, Deng, Hamilton, Korver, Miller are out there, just allow easy buckets for Omer and make him focus on offensive boards. Makes sense. Remember how Chandler made most of his buckets?

So, Omer could be a whole lot cheaper version of Okafor. And younger of course! Omer shoots freebies as bad as Emeka. But, I’d say his defense would be comparable to Mek’s. If we decide to keep Kaman and amnesty Okafor, Omer can be a nice backup for him. He can be on the floor when we need to crank-up the defense.

    Those are my two cents…

    Oh by the way:
