I’ve been listening to all the old podcasts for In the NO over the last couple weeks in anticipation of the season. I caught this today from the May 5th episode while Schwan and McNamara discuss the offseason and the possibility of trading CP3 and what teams he could go to. McNamara stated that there weren’t too many teams able to give the Hornets what we needed and stated,
“Clippers because they can give up enough young assets and hold onto Blake Griffin and make a legit offer. You could throw in an Eric Gordon, and an Aminu, and another top draft pick and make a legitimate offer at Chris Paul and make the Blake Griffin Blake Griffin combo.”
It’s good to know we have the best team and podcast in the NBA.

You have uncovered my secret!! And not to toot my own horn, but back when we had the forums, I did predict the Landry trade way back on Nov. 2, 2010. But I have been wrong as well, namely last year when I predicted a 37-45 record in our 2010-11 season preview. SHAMELESS PLUG TIME- our 2011-12 season preview will be up at the end of the week. Will Mikestradamus strike again?!?!
As a side-note he also ends the podcast joking about the Hornets selling their draft pick. Clairvoyant!
