Why no one blaming Jeff Bower

From 2007 to 2010 Jeff Bower made a Hornets team go from success to mediocre. From horriable drafts to bad free agency moves and trades. The Hornets is now the laughingstock of the NBA because of Bower how do you trade one of the best young centers (Chandler) in the leauge for a bad contract of Okafors. Why trade Rasual Butler to the Clippers for a 2016 2nd rd draft pick!!!! almost trading Paul 5 years ago because you thought he was bust he showed you.The Hornets draft history from 2006 to 2010 is a prime example this team would not be in this predictament is Bower was a better and this team had better scout too.

2006 1st rd picks Hilton Armstrong 12th overall & Cedric Simmons #15th overall. Armstrong still playing in the NBA but Simmons was a complete bust and was out of the NBA by 2008.Here are the players they coulda drafted over in the 1st rd Ronnie Brewer,Rajon Rondo,Kyle Lowry,Shannon Brown and Jordan Famar.2nd rd 43rd overall Marcus Vinicius over Paul Milsap,Leon Powe and Ryan Hollins.

2007 1st rd 13th overall Julian Wright over Al Thornton,Rodney Stuckey,Nick Young,Wilson Chandler,Rudy Fernandez,Aaron Brook and Aaron Affalo.2nd rd 43rd overall Adam Haluska over Marc Gasol and Ramon Sessions

2008 traded Darrell Arthur for Cash

2009 Well that draft class was the best Darren Collison and Marcus Thornton both would be traded 2 years later

2010 Traded down to get Craig Brackins and Quincy Pondexter.Brackins was later traded and Pondexter is still with team.

I know the draft can be crapshoot but if you’re the GM you should be good making decisions.Losing Chandler,Pargo and Bass to trades or free agency is much worst.the reality is bower is the blame for this franchise falling apart. If you think about it the Hornets woulda been one of the best small market stories with a deep roster of talent that would one or two pieces to win a title it goes to show you how much has change in 5 years.
