Is Ariza the worst shooter of all time?

…probably
But hey, it’s always good to be mentioned in the same sentence as one of the greatest point guards of all time, right?

Well, writers don't always write their own headlines, but it's actually a good article, and highlights just how bad Ariza's combination of poor+frequent shooting is. (I'm actually pretty shocked just how rare this level of putridity is.) Given his work on defense, I think Ariza's probably been a net positive, but he has been heinous on the offensive end this season and if the Hornets are going to continue to play him this many minutes in the coming years, they better pair him with an impact offensive wing player. It would also help if he shot the ball about half as much.
