I thought for sure the Hornets would have trouble getting the W tonight because past years have shown the Hornets have little success in winning in Utah. But tonight, the Hornets get a W and get up to 500. I was able to catch just bits and pieces early on because I was covering the potential new Monday Night War with RAW vs Impact…but caught the last 5 minutes and saw Devin contribute big-time and CP3 get a game-saving steal to bring the Hornets to 500.

–Even though Deron Williams won the PG battle tonight (17 points, 11 assists), Paul made the steal to keep the W and chipped in 12 points (5-15 FG), 6 boards, and 9 dimes.

–With Paul’s shooting off, Devin Brown picked up the scoring with 22 at the half and finishing with a career-high 30 points on 11-20 FG (5-8 from three)…David West had 20 points and 9 boards.

–Emeka Okafor had foul trouble early in the first half and finished with 5 points and 8 boards. James Posey contributed 12 points and 5 boards off the bench.

–Hornets get third road win of the season and move to 16-16. Hopefully the Hornets are turning the corner…@ OKC on Wednesday…
