My League Pass almost always shows the broadcast for the team opposite the Hornets, so I’m going to make note of some of my favorite bits from the announcers here. (Note: All my journals will be late as I’m almost always watching the game the following morning. I perform live comedy most nights in Austin, Tx – if you’re in the area, let me know)

This is way late and since the Raptors announcers were generally likeable I considered not even posting it – but I’m a slave to committment (right, ladies) and I couldn’t let H247 down.

The weirdest thing about the broadcast was the l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ng intro montage that seemed to loop the same Chris Paul and Chris Bosh clips. I think I took a couple of baths in a couple of different tubs before the game actually started.

The Raptors announcers were really into the game. I didn’t catch their names and I suppose I could research this, but I wonder what their connection to the NBA is. Also I wonder what they were doing before they got a franchise. Also, what are they doing this weekend? Any ideas?

And I think of all the cities with at least 3 sports teams Toronto has the weakest connection between them. Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Raptors?
