Post-Game Journal Report: Game 34: Nets @ Hornets

Niall described this as a disappointing win and I couldn’t agree more. Even though I am a fan, I do like to have fun and criticize each game of what I don’t like to see…since I have been a fan for 5+ seasons. A 4 point win against a 3 win team even when we were up by 15 earlier and losing by 1 with 11 seconds left…yeah it really happened. The Hornets are never gonna survive the playoffs looking like that. But thanks for our all-stars, Paul and West who saved us from the second most embarrassing loss of the season, first being the Miami loss with David West dribbling the ball for like 13 seconds before shooting it. Hornets win another one at the Hive and move up to 18-16.

Game 34: Nets 99 @ Hornets 103

–CP didn’t even reach double-figure points until his layup to give us back the lead 100-99…but that was okay; his 18 assists were worth the W. CP finished with 11 points, adding in 3 steals and 5 boards.

–David West had another 30-10 game, with 32 points and 10 boards, including 2 free throws at the end to seal it for the Hornets.

–Emeka had a nice double-double with 13 points and 13 boards…Devin had 8…Peja had 9

–Bench Help – decent tonight but could’ve been better: Posey with 7…Thornton with 5…Collison had 6 (3-3 FG)…only bright spot with Songalia with 10 points and 4 assists

–Hornets have back-to-back ahead starting on Sunday against the Wizards, the team without the guy who really thinks he’s Agent Zero, Gilbert Arenas…
