All-Star Logo Unveiled

The NBA has unveiled the All-Star game logo for the 217 game recently relocated to New Orleans. And it looks pretty excellent. All-Star weekend should be a pretty fun one in New Orleans this year, but Pelicans’ fans could have a lot to look forward to in terms of on court events.

While it’s early to know what will happen, Anthony Davis is a strong contender for a starting spot in the marquee event. Even if not starting, he’s pretty much a lock to make the team.

With the switch to New Orleans Buddy Hield seems like a logical choice to be in the 3-point contest. At the very least, he should be in the rising stars challenge, with Cheick Diallo potentially in there as well after a strong Summer League showing (and because, after Davis, the Pelicans’ bigs are not exactly scintillating).

Tim Frazier looks to take on an increased role at the start of the season for the Pelicans and, as a pass first player, could see his name chosen for the skill challenge.

Overall it will be a great couple of days for the Pelicans and New Orleans. Like the logo? Have any way-to-early predictions? Let us know in the comments!
