First Quarter

7:41 Like a flurry during a prize fight, every time Davis gets matched up with Curry the audience holds their breath.

6:09 in the 1Q 17-17. Thompson just picked up his second foul.

Toney Douglas comes in for Jrue Holiday after 6 minutes. Holiday was 1/4 for 2 points with 2 assists.

5:13 One way of forcing Davis to score is by having him be the only option on Off. Asik/Douglas/Smith/DC AD w/ his first twou FGs.

2:31: Delay of game on GS, possible they fear the Pelicans running up the court on them, even after makes.

Not to be missed: Asik played real strong defense in his spurt. Great positioning in filling up holes off the dribble and on PnR

41 seconds: Ryan Anderson just hit a 3 from the CBD. @PelicansNBA

End of the 1Q

27 of the @warriors 31 points came from beyond the arc, the charity stripe, or the paint. Have to get the Warriors out of their comfort zone

Second Quarter

10 mins Always nice to hear the anthem when Ajinca scores.

Perkins ruled out for the game with 8:50 left in the second quarter

7:50 Ajinca cleaning up the offensive glass giving the Pelicans their best offensive with Davis out so far.

7:05 Gordon coming off that curl and drawing a foul looks like what was originally envisioned when Gentry was hired.

5:51 Nice to see RyNo play down low like that. Drawing the and-1. 47-45  @PelicansNBA

5:15 Holiday makes an immediate impact on both sides of the ball when he comes i.

4:29 Green torching the @PelicansNBA tonight. Making four of five shots for 11 points.

Holiday draws third foul on Curry with 2:30 left in teh quarter on an and-1. 60-59 Warriors lead the @PelicansNBA

1:00 Holiday with a nice drive  up and under the hoop to give the @PelicansNBA the lead 62-60

Then a bad shot that’s great to see as Holiday nails an off-the-bounce three to give the @PelicansNBA the lead heading into the half.

Third Quarter

10:20 Gee in for Gordon. Results in open baseline three for Gee as Warriors continue to double Davis down low.

7:40 Curry getting on NBA Jam level with back-to-back 3s made. 78-72 Warriors

5:06Was typing “Holiday may be the best player on the @PelicansNBA tonight” b4 getting stripped by Curry. In related news, just passed 19 mins.\

Not going to win many quarters where you give up 40 points. Warriors lead the Pelicans beat 105-91

Fourth Quarter

4Q 8:20 The Pelicans relying on point guards who have been with the team less than 10 days shows when they have lulls like this. 111-97

7 min So much fo rHoliday’s minutes restriction

6:45 Great game by RyNo today. Aggressive on offense, great defense at the rim on the last possession, hopefully sign of things to come.

6:22 Pels in the bonus. Helpful iwhen trying to stage a comeback.

5:04 Green nails another 3. Holiday tries to thread the needle on a pass to Davis in the post with three guys covering him. Deflected out by the Warriors. Pretty much sums up the game right there.

3:12 Davis called for a technical after finishing that alley-oop in traffic. Frustrated player.

2:46 Davis T might have worked out. Got the call on that jumper, will be heading to the line. 124-112 Warriors

Not impressed with the implementation of the new system. AD gets very few shots where some one can get an assist and this team is slow on defense. It must of looked really different when Alvin was sitting on the Golden State bench and promised how he was going to utilize AD. Not so far.

I’m starting to suspect Alvin Gentry and Darren Erman are, or should be, still on Golden State’s payroll.
