New Orleans Pelicans Scrimmage 2013

Yesterday the New Orleans Pelicans held an open scrimmage free to the public at the New Orleans Arena. The scrimmage consisted of two 20min halves where the Pels showcased their active roster which ended in a 55-55 tie and Most Valuable Pelican Lance Thomas (There wasn’t really an MVP but if there was it would’ve been Lance). I know many of our readers were not able to make it to the scrimmage due to the fact that they do not live in New Orleans so I took the liberty of recording the scrimmage from the baseline. The footage is a bit shaky because it is handheld but you can see the full scrimmage and for those that want a quick peak I made a quick highlight of the scrimmage.

Enjoy.

First Half.

Second Half.

Highlights.

  1. Tyreke or Anderson could have been MVPs as well… Man, Evans is so talented… How can Sacramento screw such a great talent?! By the end of our season (hopefully in the playoffs), we’ll see a much improved Evans, write that down!
