- You can play him at the point or as a swing guard….his off the dribble game is also a skill the Pelicans need more of….he can get into the lane…
- He averaged 18 pts per game and 8 assists
- He will help create in the open floor… it will help your PACE (team was ranked #29 in possessions per game)…
- He brings ball handling… scoring… can advance the ball and assist in “early offense” situations…
- Better defender at the point guard spot
- If Gordan is a Pelican you now have two players on the perimeter with jump shooting and “attack off the dribble skills”
- He’s an All-Star
- You need quick guards in the NBA
Plus, I always liked his game
Are the Pelicans done? No they are not…
The small forward or another longer swing is needed)… scoring must be enhanced…
