In the NO Podcast Episode 121: The AD Progression

Michael and I discuss the lousy trades that occurred at the deadline, and then spend more time on what those trades mean. Players staying put probably means they are more likely to hit free agency. Bingo! We spend some time reviewing Anthony Davis and several strong games of his, and then talk about the 1-3 week and preview the upcoming back to back versus the gently repulsive Brooklyn Nets and Thunder.

  1. What do you think of grabbing a 2nd rounder and getting patrick young from florida. he reminds me so much of a reggie evans type of player who is just gonna come in and rough up the opposition and get rebounds. He seems like a little bit of a project but that type of player would be perfect for us down the line

    • I have been a huge fan of Patric Young for a while now. In fact, I had him on my list of guys who will have a rookie impact in an earlier missing piece, similar to what Kenneth Faried had simply because of his toughness and energy. Of all the guys I saw AD go up against in college, Young gave him the most trouble because of his strength. I think he gets picked in the late first round, however, but if the Hornets can get a pick in that range, I would be 100% on board with getting Young to give us that nastiness and toughness
