Anthony Davis Being Tested for a Concussion

Anthony Davis left the Hornets game against the Jazz midway through the second quarter after making contact with Austin Rivers’ elbow. He will not return and is being tested for a concussion. Davis played 14 minutes, scoring 8 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal before heading to the locker room.

Let’s all hope for the best. 

Update: From the broadcast on Fox Sports New Orleans–  “Anthony Davis was unable to answer preliminary concussion test questions satisfactorily.”

They have moved onto physical tests to gain further clarification. Nothing is expected to be known before the end of the game.

Jennifer Hale from Fox Sports New Orleans reports ” Results of #AnthonyDavis concussion tests will determine whether he boards team charter tonight for Chicago.”
