This summer league team is bad. Not much talent on it.

Why didnt we pick up Marshall for a PG?? Instead we are jamming a SG into that position.

Best player on your summer league team. Brian Roberts.
He’s the only one who can shoot Rivers included. This team can’t score
with their regular players so they better keep Roberts.
If you can shoot in the summer you can shoot in the winter…period!

Joe Gerrity prediction before the Summer League started “Looking at the roster, and hearing what he said, I was offering even money last night to other bloggers that the Hornets would go undefeated during Summer League, even without Anthony Davis. While my BAC is a bit lower now, my confidence is still sky-high.”

“A bit lower” I was still probably drunk!

Really though, I thought they’d be better than they were. No doubt! You can call me homer Joe if you want.

Then they blew a 17 point lead or whatever in the first game and it all went downhill from there.

When is the t-shirt contest? What do the shirts look like?

Brian Roberts isn’t a bad player, but he isn’t going to make our team. Once again, I like James Borrego.

I don’t know if Roberts will make the final Hornet roster, but he needs to be invited to camp. At this point he is the best point guard on this summer team. I have seem a number of players on other teams this summer that I would love to see them in the Hornets preseason camp. The Bucks and Celtics played a very exciting game, both teams had some nice talented kids. I know the Hornets have been scouting all of the other teams players. Based on what I seem we don’t have alot of talented players on our roster. The Bucks and Celtics have a more talented roster. I know if Davis was playing on this roster they would look alot better. I guess that puts the Hornets at a disadvantage not having there best rookie in the summer league. The other teams are ahead of us. So maybe I am being to hard on them, but Thomas and Henry are experience and I am not high on either of them.
