ESPN.com is reporting that the NBA has awarded New Orleans the 2014 all-star game. The last time the Hornets did this, it was a monster success.  Not surprising, since New Orleans is, of course, a party town.

Let the good times roll!  New Orleans Resurgent!

    February 14th, 2014 through February 16th, 2014.

It’ll be set up like last time according to current thinking: Jam Session in the Convention Center, the typical weekend programs, charity events (NBA Cares).

It’s not 100% that it’ll be in the Arena, but it seems to be the current thinking for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the then-recent renovations to the Arena.

    More details to come.

My bet in advance for the Hornets all-star rep…Al Farooq Aminu or Jason Smith! You heard it here first!

Nice! How does the ticketing goes? Any priority for season ticket holders, NOLA residents, etc?

I do believe STH are alloted some. Not sure how they are doled out.
