Hornets Injury Update

Published: February 15, 2012

The team updates us on Emeka, Carl, and Jarrett.

Center Emeka Okafor (sore left knee), who missed Monday night’s game against Utah, is out tonight against Milwaukee. In addition, he will miss the remaining four games on the current road trip prior to the All-Star break.

Forward Carl Landry (second degree MCL sprain) and center Jason Smith (concussion) also did not travel with the team and will miss the five game road swing before the All-Star break.

Guard Jarrett Jack (bruised left knee) is out tonight against Milwaukke and is listed as questionable for Friday night’s game in New York.

Wow we’re suffering from a lot of injuries, but there’s always hope for the future, and next season s going to be the JACKPOT of free agency. Big names mediocre names, and young small names. If Hornets can’t turn next year we need a n all new staff that’s willing to take risk and stop playing it safe
