The New Orleans Hornets Developmental League affiliate, the Iowa Energy are hosting a local basketball player tryout in New Orleans on Saturday, October 8th. Finally, a chance to show them what I got!
Little do the Hornets know that in my 6’0 (fine, I’m 5’11) frame I’m packing some serious hops and a jump shot that Ray Allen only dreams of. I can guard point guards or centers, and to top it all off my passing skills put a certain six foot point guard (who may or may not be the same height as me) to shame!
You want proof? Fine. Here. I’m a double threat! I’ll school you and then write about it.
For people who don’t suck quite as much as I do, the tryout will take place at John A. Alario Sr. Event Center from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Registration is $125 if submitted by September 30th and $150 after October 1st or at the door. The tryout will be conducted by the Iowa Energy coaching staff. Interested candidates are encouraged to pre-register as space is limited.
