The Developmental League Champions, the Iowa Energy, is the new official D-League team for the New Orleans Hornets. The new Mexico Thunderbirds were the previous Hornets affiliate, but they were recently purchased by the Cleveland Cavaliers and moved to Canton, Ohio. The Energy, located in Des Moines, will also serve as the affiliate of the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.

Thanks for the update Joe G. If you and Andrew ever have a chance to go to a game, please post your findings. I’d love to learn more about the team.

Man. I was hoping they would become a part of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants since I go to college 2 minutes from the Memorial Coliseum where they play. I would have been going all the time.
