Big game tonight at the Arena. The 45-26 Denver Nuggets are right in the thick of the playoff race with our 44-25 Hornets. Check the full standings here.
The bad news is that we may be very short-handed for this one, with Chandler, Stojakovic, Armstrong and Bowen all listed as day-to-day and questionable to play. Jim Eichenhofer has a good run-down of each guy’s status here. Meanwhile, the Nuggets appear to be fully healthy.
The good news: The Nuggets are only 18-18 on the road this season, and the last time they beat a winning team away from Colorado was February 18 when they defeated the Sixers.
We’ve played these guys three times already this season: winning, losing and winning. Tyson missed all three of those meetings, while David West and Carmelo Anthony missed the last one.
Hornets-Nuggets tips a little after 7 p.m. Central. Other games to keep an eye on tonight (all times Central): Spurs at Hawks (6:00), Warriors at Mavericks (7:30), Jazz at Suns (9:30 – ESPN).
