The Hornets look to break out of this worrying two-game slump when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Game tips a little after 7 p.m. Central.
Peja Stojakovic will again be unavailable, though Byron expects him back within a week. Reports suggest that Morris Peterson could replace Julian Wright in the starting lineup.
The 20-47 T-Wolves have won just four games since February 1, and are 10-22 on the road this season. They’re coming off a loss to the Spurs in San Antonio last night. We’ve split our two previous meetings with them this season. Al Jefferson and Corey Brewer are both done for the year with torn ACL’s.
Other games to keep an eye on tonight (all times Central): Blazers at Pacers (6:00), Nuggets at Grizzlies (7:00), Pistons at Rockets (8:30). Check the standings here.
