The Hornets look to build on their demolition of the Magic on Wednesday when they take on the Lakers in LA tonight.
At 44-10, the Lakers have the best record in the NBA. We’ve played them three times already this season, losing the first two in New Orleans, then surprising everyone with an impressive win at the Staples in early January.
The Lakers have also won their two games since All-Star break, last beating the Warriors 129-121 (!) in Oakland on Wednesday. Lamar Odom collected 7 boards in that one after grabbing at least 17 in each of his previous four games (!!). The lakers are 7-1 since losing Andrew Bynum to injury.
Game tips at 9:30 Central tonight. Catch it live online at ESPN 360. NBA Shootaround (6:30) and the Mavs-Rockets game (7:00) can also be seen there.
