Half-assed Preview: Hornets vs. Blazers

The Hornets look to improve their already-gleaming record to 2-0 this evening when they host the Portland Trail Blazers at the N.O. Arena. Game time is set for 7pm Central.

I'm pretty much all tapped out at the end of a hectic week, so excuse my laziness today. I won't be doing much previewing for this one. Luckily, Ryan's got you covered with mucho linkage and positional analysis over at The Hornets Fan.

(By the way, check out Ryan's new blog over at MVN. Dude is everywhere.)

The Blazers lost their opener in San Antonio on Tuesday, though they did hang tight for much of the game. LaMarcus Aldridge and Martell Webster led the TB's with a combined 48 points. Brandon Roy shot just 2-of-10 and finished with 7 points.

Methinks Portland will be competitive this season, even without Greg Oden. They'll be a tougher test than the Kings tonight, that's for sure.

Right, I'm outta here. Leaving you with the relevant linkage…
