The Hornets beat the Mavericks

Aw, man. I've been waiting so long to use that title. Back in the Baron Davis days, I was extra pissed whenever the Hornets lost to the Mavs because I had to hold back on my "Diddy Does Dallas" headline. I never did get to use it. Except for just now.

No, the Hornets didn't actually beat the Mavericks — don't be ridiculous — but the Honeybees did beat the Mavs dancers yesterday in that NBA Dance Bracket thing. They got 62% of the votes.

Nice background

We didn't do our Alma Mater Battle for the NCAA Tourney this year, and it's unlikely the Hornets are going to make the NBA's Sweet Sixteen, so I'm thinking we should focus a lot of energy on this Dance Bracket in the coming weeks.

Let's win the damn thing!

Now, I mistakenly thought a loser dedicated individual such as myself could win it for the Honeybees single-handedly simply by voting for them every 7.6 seconds. Unfortunately, the geeks over at NBA.com have anticipated such lunacy and thus allow you to vote only once on the day. I really don't think we can win this legitimately (have you seen the Heat dancers?) so we need to figure out a way to cheat. Yes, cheat.

Anybody got any ideas?
