Apparently, Chris Paul has signed a contract with Brand Jordan to wear their sexy kicks for the next few years. He wore plain old Nike's last year, like a regular bum on the street.

Nobody knows how much the new deal is worth, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's somewhere between $20 and $16 billion per year. Of course, I'm not a doctor, so I may be wrong.

Chris was wearing his news shoes against the Celtics on Wednesday, and by the wonder of photography, photoshop and other words that begin with photo, the images to the left show us what they look like.

Personally, I think they're a big improvement over the crazy multi-colored sleds he wore last year and in the preseason (also pictured). Fourteen people who saw those on HD-TV are said to have died from epileptic seizures.

Of course, there will be speculation that the new shoes gave Chris Paul additional magic powers, allowing him to play like a superduperstar against the Celtics. But really there's no need to speculate, because I think we all know that's exactly what happened.
