Austin Rivers may miss the rest of the season:

New Orleans Hornets G Austin Rivers suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand during tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.  Rivers is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with the injury.

The injury seems to have occurred on the steal with about 5:28 left in the first quarter. Rivers shakes his hand after finishing the ensuing layup. During the subsequent timeout, Rivers is shown to be wincing while looked at by Ishop, then there is a closeup showing a very swollen hand. His good play following the injury is even more noteworthy.

Get well, Austin.
