Ariza is out.

The New Orleans Hornets announced today that forward Trevor Ariza will miss tonight’s game and most likely the rest of the current road trip with a sore right ankle. Ariza missed last night’s win in Golden State with the injury, which also sidelined him March 24th against San Antonio. New Orleans plays in Portland tonight and wraps up the road trip with back-to-back games March 31st against the Los Angeles Lakers and April 1st in Phoenix against the Suns before returning home to face the Denver Nuggets April 4th.

Additionally, Eric Gordon (knee), who has missed 48 games this season, is doubtful for tonight’s contest. Chris Kaman (illness), who has missed the last three games, is questionable. Emeka Okafor (sore left knee) and Gustavo Ayón (personal, birth of child) are both not with the team and out.

New Orleans has lost 156 games due to injuries to 10 different players this season and used its 19th different starting lineup of the year last night.
