Hornets247 will host a live game day chat and trivia competition with prizes on Monday night when the Hornets play the Miami Heat.

I know it sucked losing to Atlanta last night. It always sucks losing to Atlanta. On the bright side, the condensed schedule means we can move on immediately from horrible performances. Before we do, I just want to allow a few members of the Hornets to say a few words about the loss to the Hawks.

Jason Smith– “That’s not Hornets basketball. It’s not what the fans deserve. It’s not what the coaches deserve”

Monty Williams– “It’s certainly one of those games where we have to flush the toilet on it.” (I particularly enjoyed this one since not only does the team need to move past this game mentally, but it was also a piece of %@#$.)

Greivis Vasquez– “Tough loss tonight! We apologize to our fans for witness that! We have to move on to the next game, and keep fighting. ”

DaJuan Summers– “Terrible game… Embarrassing really. On the flight now headed to Miami. We need to regroup for tomorrow. ”

OK then. Let’s move on to tomorrow’s contest against the Heat.

Against the Heat on Monday night, we’ll be hosting a live chat before, during, and for a few minutes after the game. During that chat we’ll be conducting a live trivia contest on cover it live. We’ll be giving out tickets and other prizes throughout.

I have a pretty cool prize in mind for first place, especially if the winner is local. That’s all I’m saying about that for now though. If you want to know more, chat it up tomorrow.

So join our virtual world for a few hours and get to know some of the writers here at Hornets247. We’ll be talking trades, speculating about Gordon’s knee and his future, answering questions, commenting on the state of the team, and probably discussing Mardi Gras and New Orleans for a bit. There’s also the game which features LeBron and D-Wade.

Needless to say, there will be a lot to talk about. Throw in the trivia contest as well, and we could be looking at a pretty sweet night on the internet.

In case you were wondering (and I know some of you were), this virtual event is BYOB.
